If you’re looking for a feel-good treat that still hits that rich, chocolatey craving, this Better-for-You Chocolate Banana Bread is it. It’s the kind of recipe I reach for when I want something comforting and indulgent, but made with simple, wholesome ingredients that leave you feeling good after every bite.

Ripe bananas bring natural sweetness and that perfectly soft, moist texture we all love in a classic banana bread, while chocolate adds that deep, satisfying flavour that takes it to the next level. It’s a beautiful balance, where neither the banana nor the chocolate overpowers, but instead come together in the most delicious way.

What I love most about this recipe is how easy it is to make while still feeling like a better choice. It’s perfect for busy mornings, afternoon snacks, or even a little something sweet after dinner. Think cozy, homemade, and just a little elevated.

  5. Pour batter into the greased baking pan. Top with walnuts and chocolate ships (optional).
