Better for You Chocolate Banana Bread
Wet Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 3 large eggs
- ¼ cup plain Greek yogurt
- ¼ cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp cinnamon
Dry Ingredients
- 2 ½ cups almond flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Optional: Top with walnuts, and or chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Grease a baking pan or loaf pan. I spray mine with avacado oil.
- Mix all wet ingredients together in a bowl.
- Add in dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
- Pour batter into the greased baking pan. Top with walnuts and chocolate ships (optional).
- Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes depending on your oven. Toothpick should come out clean when ready. Do not overbake. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Turn it out onto a colling rack or serving dish to cool fully.
Notes
- This cake will last 1 week in a tightly covered container.
